Visiting Rotari Sikdang in Yeosu was an unforgettable culinary experience for me. For the incredibly affordable price of just 12,000 KRW per person, I was served a single set meal that felt like a complete introduction to Yeosu's famous flavors. The table was packed with a generous spread including marinated crab, a savory crab soybean paste stew, stir-fried pork, and local favorites like pungent gat-kimchi. I found the spicy marinated crab to be particularly delicious, and the depth of flavor in the crab stew was simply mind-blowing. Every side dish, including the braised cod and various greens, was so well-prepared that I found myself clearing every single plate. What made the experience even better was the warm hospitality; the owner was exceptionally friendly, and the availability of side dish refills meant I left feeling completely satisfied and full. Since the restaurant is small and highly popular among locals and tourists alike, expect an on-site wait during peak hours. Parking is limited to the surrounding narrow alleys, so it requires a bit of patience, but the incredible balance of taste, quantity, and price makes it a must-visit destination. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Yeosu.
