Laiok-bap is pho broth poured over rice and served steaming in an earthenware pot, piled with bean sprouts and beef, with a few thin rice noodles tucked in, and the fluffy rice loosens into the clear broth. The beef pho is gentle too, and goi cuon fresh spring rolls are the usual side. At busy times one four-person table is split between two parties.
