Tucked away in the countryside of Toechon near Gwangju, this Vietnamese pho and spring roll specialist sits in a peaceful rural setting that makes the drive feel like a small adventure. The pho broth is rich and deeply flavored, and I finished every last drop. Beef brisket topping is generous, and even a small portion is more than enough. The real star here is the Vietnamese spring rolls, specifically the charcoal-grilled pork topping that carries an intense smoky aroma, good enough to be a standalone dish. Wrapping that smoky pork into fresh rice paper rolls was genuinely delicious. That said, if you are expecting strictly authentic Vietnamese flavors, the taste leans somewhat Korean-adapted. Weekend waits frequently exceed an hour, so weekday visits are much smoother. Parking is ample for a drive-in visit, and the stream running through the back garden adds a lovely touch of atmosphere.
