A Seoul-style bulgogi specialist that relocated to Toechon-myeon in Gwangju-si (Gyeonggi Province), widely known as a celebrity-endorsed restaurant featured on the Korean show 'I Live Alone.' The signature dish is traditional brass-pan bulgogi: thinly sliced beef is heaped with scallions and bean sprouts, then simmered in broth on a hot copper plate. The seasoning is deliberately gentle, not aggressively sweet or salty, which prevents palate fatigue and creates an addictive quality that deepens as the broth reduces. Each serving is a generous 300 grams, so ordering one portion fewer than the number of diners is the standard approach. Three varieties are available: classic beef bulgogi, wagyu bulgogi, and wild pine mushroom bulgogi. The stone pot rice (sotbap) is an essential companion, the quality of the rice is outstanding on its own, and pouring water over the remaining rice at the end yields a nurungji (crispy rice crust) that serves as the perfect finish. Dongchimi broth is provided alongside the meal to counterbalance the sweetness of the bulgogi. Weekend waits can be lengthy; a tablet-based queuing system at the entrance sends notifications via KakaoTalk. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and observes a break time from 3 to 5 PM.
