Down a flight of stairs off a narrow Hannam-dong lane, the split-level room is fitted out like a 1920s European luxury train, with curtains, leather sofas and compartment-style booths. The Capri, the signature cocktail, arrives styled like an Italian beach, and the bar makes a proper Ramos Gin Fizz, a fussy classic that many bars avoid. Japanese whisky and Islay Scotch cover the spirits side. Truffle fries come free and get topped up before the bowl runs out, and lasagna turns a night of drinks into dinner. Upstairs seats carry a minimum spend per person, and a terrace opens up in milder weather.
