Ondal Haemul Guk 온달해물국

There is one dish, clear cod soup (daegu malgeun-tang), so all you say after sitting down is how many, and even with a lunchtime waiting number your turn comes around quickly. The cod is shredded before it goes in, which clouds the broth a little, and it cooks with bean sprouts, oysters and milt. It arrives barely seasoned and tastes flat until you add salted shrimp, sliced cheongyang chili and black pepper. Of the side dishes, the cucumber muchim is good spooned up with the broth.
