Thin slices of pork lie neatly over rice in a clear, light broth, a different direction from the cloudy pork soup of Busan. The rice is cooked deliberately firm so it holds its shape in the soup. Regular and special dwaeji gomtang (pork rice soup) share the same broth, and the special simply carries more meat. A little gochuji, a spicy fermented pepper relish, sharpens individual bites, while kimchi dumplings filled with glass noodles bring stronger seasoning. The U-shaped counter seats about ten people, and the line is managed through the Catchtable app or the device at the door.
