Serving robots carry dishes across a large third-floor dining room on Myeongdong-gil, about 350m from Euljiro-ipgu Station. The Pyongyang naengmyeon broth is clear and salty with a faint sweetness and a soft finish, and the buckwheat noodles keep a moderate chew. Mandu-guk, dumpling soup, comes in a clean, light broth with well-filled dumplings, a warm counterpart to the cold noodles. Perilla oil noodles and onban are also on the menu, though onban at this branch carries only small pieces of mung bean pancake and the suyuk portion is modest. Prices run higher than at other Neungra-do branches. Lunch is crowded, while early evening is noticeably calmer.
