Namdo Chueotang 남도추어탕

Each bowl of chueotang (loach soup) arrives with four slices of bossam pork and a dish of eoriguljeot, spicy salted oysters, so the table looks more like a bossam dinner than a bowl of soup. The broth is thick with loach and on the salty side. A few spoonfuls in, tear open one of the small packets of sancho pepper and the aroma jumps. Extra pork can be ordered separately.
