Ordering jokbal unlocks a complimentary spread that borders on absurd generosity - a large clay pot of sundae-guk and sundae, both with unlimited refills. The freshly boiled jokbal had a satisfying combination of tender and chewy textures, and the garlic jokbal carried a subtle garlic infusion that added depth. The sundae-guk, despite being complimentary, was packed with offal and delivered a richness that rivaled dedicated gukbap restaurants. The tteokbokki came in a thick, market-stall style that was addictive in its own right. Even the small order was enough for two people to leave full.
