Kukaiya 쿠카이야 (空海家)

The noodles come from the shop's own noodle room, thick and springy, with a wheaty flavor that grows as you chew. Order one bowl per person and a double or even triple portion costs nothing extra; Pusan National University students who show ID can go up to quadruple. Butter mentaiko udon coats the noodles in pollock roe and butter, and the kumo version has a creamier sauce. Apart from udon, there is little beyond house-made karaage and tempura.
