Jongga Myeonok Bonjeom 종가면옥(본점)

Seokkimi naengmyeon tops spicy cold noodles with thick slices of boiled meat and dressed raw fish together. The sauce runs sweet, and wrapping the noodles in yeolmu kimchi, cucumber and meat pulls that back. For Hamheung-style noodles they are thin, and they clump and go soft quickly. The mul-naengmyeon broth is cold without ice and carries the taste of pear. Bowls are on the small side, and a plate of five old-style wang-mandu makes up the rest of the meal.
