Jeongtong Chuncheon Dakgalbi 정통춘천닭갈비

The menu is dakgalbi and fried rice, nothing else. Once you order, the marinated chicken goes onto the griddle in a heap first, and only well after that do the vegetables, rice cakes and sweet potato join it. The rice cakes cook first, but holding off lets them soak up sauce and crisp against the pan. The red, garlic-heavy sauce is milder than it looks, and perilla leaves go on at the end. Seating is on the floor.
