The raw beef appears fiery red from its seasoning but carries no actual heat, the dominant flavors are the sweetness of pear and the nutty depth of sesame seeds and sesame oil. Vegetables outweigh rice in the bowl, so the initial impression is generous, though the volume feels right as you eat.
