Since 1957 this hanok compound by Chungmuro Station has combined a garden, a Korean dining room, a royal tea service and traditional performances, and its dining room reopened after a 2026 renovation. Courses draw on Joseon court and aristocratic cooking with seasonal ingredients: gujeolpan, a platter of fillings wrapped in thin crepes, white bean and mugwort porridge, and a chilled lotus root and seafood salad. Seasoning is light, with sauces on the side to adjust it. Staff in hanbok explain each course. Gohojae, the tea brand on site, serves tea with seasonal confections on a small tray, and a short traditional dance performance runs at set times. Reservations are needed, tea seats go first come, first served, and there is a large underground car park.
