Floor-to-ceiling windows run up both levels of this Myeongdong shop near Euljiro 1-ga Station, and further inside the tables are spaced more generously than the busy street suggests. Gureum cheese jjimdak buries soy-braised chicken under a heavy layer of melted cheese that stretches with the glass noodles, alongside rice cakes and potato. Gochujang and plain boneless versions are on the menu too, and spice is chosen by level, with the standard level roughly as hot as Shin Ramyun. Egg rice and scorched-rice nurungji bap are sides to mix into the leftover sauce.
