Geumgangsan Samgyetang 금강산삼계탕

A hot pot of marinated chicken bulgogi comes free with every samgyetang order, stirred with chopsticks as it cooks at the table. The ginseng chicken soup itself comes boiling in an earthenware bowl within minutes, its broth already seasoned. Standard sides are gochujang-dressed cucumber, kkakdugi, fresh kimchi and chicken gizzards, with a small glass of ginseng liquor. Daegaya Samgyetang next door is the other long-running name for this dish in Ulsan.
