Balsan Samgyetang 발산삼계탕

Ten kinds of grain and ginseng go into the broth, which makes this samgyetang (whole young chicken soup) nuttier and thicker than most. Each bird is stuffed with glutinous rice, jujube, ginseng and chestnut. The chicken itself is small, but the bowl is filling. Nurungji samgyetang adds softened scorched rice for a toasty note.
