Goyangi Jeongwon 고양이정원

Around 200 cats roam a converted house, its yard and a grassy hillside in Gaehwa-dong. There is no cafe menu: admission covers one bottled drink from the fridge or warmer, and cat treats are sold separately for feeding. Most cats are gentle and happy to settle on a lap. Wear clothes that can get dirty, because the cats walk on bare earth. People with fur or dander allergies should think twice. Weekday visits have no time limit, weekends do, and parking is limited to about 7 cars, with heavy road traffic on weekends.
