Geongang Bapsang Simmani 건강밥상심마니

Geongang Bapsang Simmani is a Korean restaurant on the second floor of Songdo Sejong Plaza in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, serving whole-chicken soups, baeksuk, set meals, and stone-pot rice. The Geongang Bapsang set is arranged as an appetizer, a main dish, and a spread of small side dishes rather than as a single mixed bowl. Gondre stone-pot rice can replace plain rice. The mountain greens cook with the grains inside a hot stone vessel, leaving herbal fragrance in the rice and a toasted layer against the pot. The pork-rib set pairs direct-fire grilled marinated ribs with the same multi-dish table format. The premium beef-rib jjim set uses a long rib section with a thick piece of meat, braised in seasoning and placed on a larger shared plate. Hanbang nokdu chicken combines chicken and mung beans in one bowl, while yeongyak samgyetang presents a small whole chicken submerged in hot broth. Sipjeondaebo baeksuk cooks chicken or duck in a medicinal-herb stock containing ingredients such as mountain ash, adenophora root, elm bark, and angelica. Golden-mushroom baeksuk changes the solids in the communal pot by adding oyster mushrooms, shiitake, shimeji, and golden enoki. Their broad caps, clustered stems, and slender strands remain visibly different around the poultry. Bullojangsaeng shabu-shabu provides thin beef and vegetables to cook in broth at the table. Dakbokkeumtang uses domestic chicken in a red, savory liquid, with jointed pieces and vegetables sharing a wide pot. Tables and enclosed rooms make space for a large baeksuk vessel, appetizer plates, stone pots, individual rice bowls, and several side dishes without combining them into one tray.
