At this ethnic Chinese restaurant, designated a Hundred-Year Store, the gan-jjajang has almost no sweetness or saltiness. The first bite tastes plain, yet it never leaves you feeling heavy. Chunky onion and pork are stir-fried in black bean sauce after you order and served apart from the noodles, and anyone expecting a thick, intense gan-jjajang may find it mild. Samseon gan-jjajang and samseon fried rice are made only for two or more. Denppura, an unfamiliar name on the menu, is pork seasoned with pepper and fried with no sauce, closer to a beer snack than to tangsuyuk.
