Each coffee comes with a tasting-note card describing the beans. The bread is baked by a master baker, and opinions split between those who find it toned down in sweetness and easy to eat with coffee and those who still find it sweet. The 700-seat space is done up in a European style, and with pasta, salads and brunch on the menu, some people make a meal of it. Leftover bread is packed up by customers at a self-service wrapping station.
