A Yangpyeong-style haejangguk specialist on Gyeongchun-ro in Namyangju, drawing crowds from as early as 6 AM and widely recognized as one of the area's top hangover soup destinations. After relocating from the previous Ilpae-dong location, the restaurant maintained its signature flavor while gaining a cleaner, more spacious setting. The soup arrives generously loaded with yang (tripe), cheon-yeop (abomasum), and sonji (blood cake), delivering a rich yet clean broth without any gamey off-notes. A slight initial aroma may be noticeable on the first spoonful, but adding a small amount of the chili oil from the table transforms it into a thoroughly clean-tasting bowl. Take care to distinguish the two bottles: the larger one is a dipping sauce for innards, while the smaller one is the chili oil. The naejangtang (innard soup) is another popular order, with a clean broth and generous organ meat portions that leave diners satisfied. Among the banchan, the kkakdugi stands out for its unusual depth of flavor, well beyond typical haejangguk-house kimchi, and a separate plate of buchu (garlic chives) makes a welcome accompaniment. Rice is self-serve from a communal rice cooker, so refills are unlimited. A parking attendant is on site to guide vehicles into the spacious lot, making car visits convenient. Lunchtime inevitably brings a queue, so arriving slightly before or after peak hours is advisable.
