안성장터국밥
This fourth-generation jangteo-gukbap restaurant in Anseong has been operating for over a century, earning certification as a century-old establishment from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and appearing on numerous television programs. The menu focuses on just two items: jangteo-gukbap (8,000 won) and somoeri suyuk (35,000 won), reflecting a philosophy of single-minded specialization. The soup resembles a yukgaejang style with shredded beef, dried greens, and assorted vegetables in a rich broth that goes down clean despite its depth. Adding red pepper powder gives it a clinging spiciness, and a shake of black pepper adds a refreshing, peppery warmth as it slides down your throat. Kkakdugi and baechu kimchi accompany the bowl, and the rice is cooked firm enough to hold its texture even when spooned into the soup. A recent relocation brought a spacious, clean new building with seating for approximately one hundred guests, including dedicated solo dining spots for those eating alone. The restaurant opens early enough for a morning meal, and the volume of takeout orders speaks to its consistent quality. The parking lot is large with entry gates installed, making vehicle access straightforward.
