Sirloin, tenderloin and ribs can be ordered one by one or together as the Hanwoo assorted platter, and diners grill them over charcoal while staff explain how. The hot charcoal leaves a clear beefy aroma and plenty of juice in the meat. Doenjang-jjigae, a savory soybean-paste stew, goes well between bites of meat, and side dishes are topped up quickly. The main building and annex hold private rooms, group tables and high chairs. Those rooms also host quieter celebrations, from birthdays to a new job. Lunch fills up fast enough that booking ahead is the safer plan.
