Yetnal Ureongi Sikdang 옛날우렁이식당

Among the many ureong-ssambap (river snail and leaf-wrap) restaurants near Sapgyoho Lake, this one includes stir-fried pork in its basic set. The Ureongi set comes with two ssamjang pastes: the mild one, made with perilla seed and tofu, is nutty and heavy, and the spicy one is saltier and sharper. Ureongi-chomuchim, springy snails in a vinegary dressing, is the side that collects the most praise, and the doenjang stew holds plenty of snails as well. The access road from the main road forks, which trips up first-time visitors.
