Yeontan Saenggogi Jip 연탄생고기집

Yeontan Saenggogi Jip is a charcoal briquette BBQ restaurant in Hongeun-dong, Seodaemun-gu, using premium Jeju nokdon pork. The samgyeopsal has an ideal fat-to-lean ratio, and the moksal is thick-cut with a satisfyingly chewy fat layer. The sausage is a must-order - cutting it releases a burst of juices. Banchan quality is outstanding: kongnamul-pajeori and pickled perilla leaves create an exceptional wrap combination with the meat, and three types of kimchi (green onion, mustard leaf, and napa) are all hand-made by the owner's mother. The restaurant relocated from Yeonhui-dong and is known as a filming location for the movie Hidden Face. Parking is convenient and service begins at 4 PM.
