Shrimp stock, tomato and basil make the broth for the shrimp tomato udon, which tastes closer to an Italian soup than to soy-based udon. Named for its street address, Udo-ro 93 has a small ground-floor room plus rooftop and outdoor tables. Shrimp salad udon goes the other way: cold noodles tossed with shrimp, vegetables, dressing and grated cheese. Two shrimp fries round out the short menu, one in a sweet coconut coating, the other using Udo peanuts in both the batter and the dipping sauce.
