Seongil Sikdang 성일식당

Warm buckwheat tea reaches the table as soon as guests sit down. The set for two pairs braised pork ribs (galbijjim) with gondeure rice, cooked with a mild mountain thistle green, and thin buckwheat crepes; the rib meat falls away from the bone with a light tap of the tongs. Bean sprouts, mushrooms and glass noodles sit in the pot, and the leftover sauce gets mixed with rice at the end. Wrapping a piece of rib in a buckwheat crepe is the usual move, with corn makgeolli to drink. Takeout and meal kits are sold too. The shop is in Galhyeon-dong, between Yeonsinnae and Gupabal stations.
