Saenggok Makguksu Chuncheon 생곡막국수 춘천점

The potato pancake is as thick as a pizza crust. Shredded and grated potato go in together, and the outside crisps while strands of potato still give some bite inside. The buckwheat noodles are a little thicker than most and don't break easily, and in the bibim version the chili flakes and perilla oil are strong without hiding the buckwheat. For heat, bul makguksu adds cheongyang chilies and minced meat. The menu matches the Hongcheon original, and despite the big dining room, weekends and holidays bring long waits.
