Shaped exactly like a potato fresh out of the ground, the gamja-ppang (potato bread) has a chewy shell closer to glutinous rice cake than bread, wrapped around potato filling with a buttery smell. The plain one is fairly mild; in the cheese version, the cheese pushes the potato flavor toward salty. Both are sold singly or by the box.
