I grilled galmaegi-sal and pork neck over charcoal at this meat restaurant in the middle of Haeundae's hotel district. The galmaegi-sal was the clear star, absorbing a nice smoky flavor from the coals, and the doenjang-jjigae that comes alongside is a thick, strong-bean-paste style that tastes incredible mixed with rice and the fried egg served on top. Getting a fried egg with each bowl of rice was a thoughtful touch I had not seen elsewhere. The place stays open until 1 AM, making it a solid late-night option, and parking fits about ten cars comfortably. The restaurant draws a notably international crowd, with plenty of foreign tourists filling tables. On the downside, tables are packed tight, making a group of three feel cramped, and the second-floor outdoor seating has a street-stall vibe that works better in mild weather. Restroom cleanliness could use improvement.
