Menten 멘텐

Only about ten people fit inside, so lines build at weekday opening and lunch. The shoyu ramen has a soy broth that is not salty, with a clean, seaweed-like savoriness and soft chashu. Tantanmen goes richer and spicier. A lunch-only mazesoba appears at times, served without kelp vinegar or rice. Orders go through a kiosk, the room is quiet enough for a solo meal, and Chungmuro Station is 400m away.
