Thick, almost sujebi-like noodles sit in a broth heavy with shiitake mushrooms and egg in the kalguksu. The shop has run for about 35 years in Ido-dong, Jeju City, and despite the bunsik (snack shop) label it serves full bowls: kalguksu, gosari yukgaejang (spicy beef soup with bracken) and bibimbap. The owners make the kimchi, kkakdugi radish cubes and tangy shredded radish themselves.
