Octopus, squid, shiitake and onion pile high in a big bowl of haemul modeum jjamppong, and the broth leans sweet from the seafood and vegetables rather than hot. The noodles keep their spring even after sitting in the soup. Chapssal tangsuyuk, sweet-and-sour pork with a chewy glutinous-rice coating, comes in a mini size meant to sit beside a single bowl of noodles. The assorted seafood sometimes runs out by mid-afternoon, leaving the standard haemul jjamppong.
