Three kinds of salt and six sauces, mel-jeot (fermented anchovy dip) among them, sit beside the charcoal grill, so the same cut can taste several ways. The menu covers beef, such as hwangje sogalbisal (premium boneless short rib), kkot-galbisal and salchisal, as well as Iberico pork neck and jowl. Hanwoo yukhoe, seasoned raw Korean beef, comes with crisp seaweed chips for contrast. To finish there are mul- and bibim-naengmyeon, doenjang-sulbap (rice in soybean paste soup) and Hanwoo gukbap. Wrap greens and sides, including plenty of pickled myeongi leaves, are self-service. The room is large with well-spaced tables, which works for family dinners and birthdays.
