Iyeon Guksu 이연국수

Order on the way in and the noodles hit the table almost as you sit down. The menu is essentially two bowls, janchi-guksu in mild anchovy broth and bibim-guksu, and asking for the order called maenia gets you both. The somyeon wheat noodles are so thin they slide down with barely a chew, and the plain broth takes a spoonful of scallion soy sauce. The little chilies on the table are hot, so bite them carefully.
