Hyewon So Gopchang 혜원소곱창

The beef intestines arrive already seared in the kitchen, so there is little waiting at the grill before eating. The assorted platter, so-gopchang modeum-gui, sets small intestine full of marrow, fatty large intestine, springy abomasum and tender heart beside potato, onion, kabocha and rice cakes, dusted with a snowy cheese-like powder. Kimchi and bean sprout ramyeon, sharp and spicy, and a cold seasoned tripe salad come with the meal and cut through the fat. The shop sits near Exit 6 of Wangsimni Station. Fried rice with chopped tripe finishes the table.
