Hole in One Ssambap Jip is a Korean lettuce-wrap restaurant on Dangjeon-ro in Buknae-myeon, Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, widely known among golfers who frequent the numerous courses in the surrounding area. Yeoju is one of Korea's most celebrated rice-producing regions, and the restaurant leverages this advantage with stone-pot rice that arrives glistening and firm-grained, delivering a sweetness and texture that make it a highlight in its own right. An upgrade to the dolsot version costs just 2,000 won extra and is worth requesting. The menu spans a range of proteins to wrap in leafy greens: jeyuk bokkeum, so bulgogi, sliced pork belly, chadolbagi, and ogyeopsal are all available, with some dishes arriving pre-cooked and others grilled tableside, giving diners a choice between convenience and interaction. Doenjang jjigae and sundubu are included as standard accompaniments, and the sundubu and kongbiji in particular draw praise for their clean, nutty flavor. Banchan are plentiful, and a self-service station allows guests to cook their own fried eggs and jeon (savory pancakes), adding a participatory element to the meal. A Naver reservation bonus of complimentary gyeran-jjim is available. The dining room has only about three open tables, with the majority of seating arranged in private rooms, a layout well suited to family gatherings and group meals. The parking lot is spacious, making car access easy, and staff are generally attentive. Lunchtime queues are common, so booking ahead is recommended. Chadolbagi is priced at 19,000 won per serving. The cooking style throughout leans toward a restrained, home-style seasoning rather than heavy flavors, making the restaurant a good fit for those seeking a wholesome, balanced Korean meal.
