Hallim Kalguksu 한림칼국수

Hallim Kalguksu is a long-established noodle shop near Hallim Port in Hallim-eup, Jeju City, whose house-made noodles with their soft, chewy texture form the core of its appeal. The signature bomal kalguksu combines bomal sea snails and maesaengi seaweed into a broth rich with ocean fragrance yet precisely seasoned, serving as the benchmark for kalguksu on Jeju's western coast. The bomal porridge delivers a nutty depth distinct from abalone porridge, gentle on the stomach, while the maesaengi badang-jeon showcases the elastic quality of the house-made batter in a remarkably chewy pancake.
