Gyeongju Millennium Hanwoo Bomun is a butcher-shop-style Korean beef restaurant near Bomun Lake in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The setup allows guests to select their preferred cuts and quantities at the butcher counter, then move to the adjacent dining room where a 6,000-won per-person table charge covers the grilling experience over charcoal. The beef quality is remarkably strong for the price, and generous portions make it practical to sample several different cuts in a single visit. The value proposition is especially compelling given the quality-to-cost ratio of the hanwoo. Finishing with doenjang-jjigae cleanly counterbalances the richness of the meat, and the doenjang-guksu makes for another satisfying closer alongside the beef. Additional meal options include yukhoe-bibimbap, somyeon noodles, and naengmyeon. Private rooms on the second floor accommodate family gatherings and group dining, and the parking lot is spacious. A corkage fee applies for outside alcohol. Not every table has a dedicated smoke extractor, so the interior may fill with grill smoke, and diners should expect their clothing to absorb some of the smell. Evening hours typically see around a 20-minute wait. The restaurant has gained additional recognition from endorsements by mixed martial arts athletes.
