Mackerel sashimi is eaten wrapped in a perilla leaf with a bit of wasabi rice and onion sauce, and the belly cut stands out for its chew. Silver hairtail sashimi comes alongside and carries almost no fishy edge. At lunch, a special pairs stone-pot rice topped with deboned mackerel, mixed with seasoning sauce, and a tangy cold mulhoe.
