그릿비 일광점
Grit B Ilgwang is a large seaside cafe directly facing Ilgwang Beach in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, opened in April 2017 and established as a pillar of the Gijang coastal cafe scene. The name Grit B means 'welcome guest' in Korean. Expansive glass windows frame a calm, unobstructed ocean view, and the two-story interior offers generous seating with wide table spacing that makes conversation comfortable. Group seating is available for larger parties. The outdoor terrace overlooking the waves is the highlight — drinking coffee while listening to the surf defines the essential experience here, and staff will recommend the best seats when asked. The bakery selection is extensive and consistently good, making it satisfying for bread lovers to fill a tray with various picks. Brunch items, pasta, and pizza are also on the menu, allowing for a light meal. Coffee quality sits at a solid standard level, and as a view-and-atmosphere-focused cafe, the space itself carries more value than the drinks alone. However, after several years of operation, the coastal winds have caused rust on the terrace furniture and iron pillars, and the fence glass has become clouded — maintenance concerns that have been noted by visitors. Visiting on a weekday offers a quiet, unhurried atmosphere ideal for simply staring at the sea, whereas weekends draw considerable crowds. Parking is available in front of and beside the cafe, making access by car convenient.
