Anyone expecting the fiery, heavy jjamppong common today may find this one mild. The ethnic Chinese restaurant has been near Seonghwan Station since 1960, and its jjamppong is an older style, a clear-tasting broth of vegetables and seafood. The gan-jjajang, black-bean sauce stir-fried to order, is salty rather than sweet, with finely minced meat and vegetables that cling to the noodles. The tangsuyuk comes under a white sauce.
