Dongpirang Jeonbok Maeul 동피랑 전복마을

This abalone restaurant is on the second floor of the Daepunggwan building across from Tongyeong's honey-bread street, and the wait is handled through the Tabling app. The jeonbok dolsotbap set brings stone-pot abalone rice with a seafood pancake, grilled fish and side dishes, enough on its own to fill you up. Spooned straight, the rice tastes plain, so stir in the seasoning sauce, then pour water over the crust stuck to the pot and eat it as nurungji. Pairs often order two pots of rice and share one mulhoe, raw seafood in cold broth.
