Yukgaejang kalguksu pairs a beef-bone broth simmered for 12 hours with a mildly spicy soup, and the noodles come on a separate plate to add yourself. Rice is included, so the last of the soup becomes a full meal. Beef pajeon, a savory pancake, works as a shared side with the sweet-sour bibim guksu.
