Tucked into an old alley on the Sejong Village food street near Gyeongbokgung Station, this noodle house also pours makgeolli (rice wine) and fries savory pancakes. Perilla kalguksu coats broad hand-cut noodles in a thick, nutty ground-perilla soup, while janchi-guksu keeps thin wheat noodles in clear anchovy broth. Haemul pajeon, a seafood and scallion pancake, is the usual partner for a bottle of makgeolli, alongside kimchi and buckwheat-crepe options. Tables are small and close together, a wait is common, and there is no parking.
