Buchon Sikdang 부촌식당

Eating galchi jorim, braised cutlassfish, alone is hard to manage in Jeju, but here it comes as a set for one. The earthenware pot holds three pieces of fish with thick radish and enoki, and the set includes a choice of sea urchin seaweed soup, abalone seaweed soup or doenjang soup. Diners split on the seasoning: some find the braise salty, others say it isn't. For a day without the braise, there is oily grilled mackerel.
