The 100% buckwheat noodles are thin and soft, and the aroma arrives the moment they hit your mouth. Bibim makguksu is heavy on sesame oil and slightly sweet, nothing like the usual spicy mixed noodles, and diners either welcome that or find it odd. Warm, firm country tofu and crunchy house-made kimchi come alongside. The restroom is basic and the sink is outdoors. A stop at a nearby public restroom beforehand makes things easier.
