Badabyu Jeppangso is a large three-story bakery cafe sitting directly on Hujin Port in Ganghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun, operated by a certified master baker. The selection of pastries and breads, made with French butter, is impressively wide and flower-shaped, comparable to popular bakery cafes near Seoul in both variety and presentation. Taste is rated solidly above average, and specialty items such as the red crab cream baguette draw particular interest. The real draw is the third-floor window seating with an unobstructed frontal view of the ocean. At sunrise, changing light is visible across the horizon, while after sunset the interior lighting becomes more prominent than the water beyond the glass. The black sesame latte has a pronounced roasted-seed flavor, while the warm Americano showcases the beans well and pairs nicely with the baked goods. Popular breads and desserts can leave the display earlier than other items, so the remaining selection changes through the day. The bread, drinks, three floors of seating, and direct sea view are combined in one coastal bakery format. Seating is generous across all three floors, and an elevator provides easy access between them. Parking is available both in the main lot and on the seaside approach. The location can be combined with Hujin Port on a drive toward Sokcho, with the bakery and sea-facing seats occupying the same building.
